Description:

Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an Senior Infrastructure Architect for a major IT project in Belgium. Please see below for the technical skills required for this role:

Skills & Experience:

• The profile sought will have to have as much knowledge and experience as possible on the IT infrastructures “from the generation of those currently in place at the DTIC” and on the “new generation” IT infrastructures, which are already operational and have proved themselves Among early adopters.
• He / she must have good technical knowledge, good vision and good communication / conviction skills.
• It will have to explain, convince, “raise the level of maturity” and bring together around its proposals to change positively and concretely our technical infrastructures and their modes / management tools.
• Experience in identical or similar missions, ideally in large organizations with large information systems;
• Legitimacy vis-à-vis specialists in the different fields to be covered: credibility and ability to hold a correct, coherent, “adequate and balanced” discourse, not merely operational / technical or, conversely, too theoretical / Vaporous;
• Ability to act as a convener, a federator around well-designed and well-explained solutions;
• Knowledge and experience of “software defined” architectures. Ability to define architectures allowing automation and virtualization of provisioning of infrastructure resources (servers, application hosting, storage, workstations, networks);
• Knowledge of distributed and heterogeneous computing environments: networks (WAN, MAN, LAN), firewalls, IPV6, NAC, datacenters, load balancing, clustering, high availability, DRP, OS servers Windows and Linux, virtualization NAS, hierarchical storage and archiving, Oracle & PostgreSQL databases, back-ups, scheduling, monitoring, MS Exchange groupware tools, mobile device management, CMDB, …
• Knowledge of application hosting technologies: web hosting (Java, PHP), CMS (Jahia, Drupal, …), GED (Alfresco), databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL);
• Knowledge of continuous application deployment and integration methodologies and technologies;
• Good knowledge of PC operating systems and their integration in the company (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10);
• Knowledge of mobile technologies: Android, iOS;
• Experience in modeling;
• Knowledge of a project management method and experience, knowledge of a standard framework of enterprise architecture (TOGAF type) and knowledge of the public sector, its fields of activities and Business functions are additional assets
• French language skills are a must
